Optional publication through the official API

Automate fact mapping, drafts and queue preparation. Optional publication uses a Threads-enabled app and account authorization; check the live publishing quota rather than assuming a fixed daily allowance.

Before connecting automation

  • Configure the Threads app and HTTPS OAuth callback. Obtain threads_basic and threads_content_publish permissions for the intended account.
  • Before publication, check the live threads_publishing_limit response and token state; request insights permissions only if you use them.
  • Create the selected post container, publish its creation_id through threads_publish and store the final post ID and URL.

Fields to keep in your publication queue

Channel and account · Source URL and checked date · Draft version and content hash · Reviewer and approval scope · Publish time and timezone · Status and published URL · Observed results

When to stop and review

  • Stop when authorization expires, permission is missing, quota is exhausted or the approved version changes.
  • If publish status is uncertain, reconcile the container and public account before creating another copy.
